New vessel owners Norman McLean and Stuart Buchan were very proud and totally satisfied by works carried out by Peter Bruce Ships Painters team of experienced personel.  The vessel arrived for major refit works which included  engineering, fabrication, electrical as well as blasting and painting works which were completed in just over 2 weeks.

Consortium had all steel works of caisson, gantry, net drum  and aluminium top deck surfaces blast cleaned back to the bare metal surface before receiving 2 x full coats of 2 pack primers, base coat and topcoats to all blasted surfaces.

Once on shiplift hull was blowlamped, scrapped and sanded back to bare surfaces which were then caulked and filled where required before receiving 2 coats of wood primer and 2 coats of black antifouling paint in order to contrast with top sides painting.

Inside deck shelter and inside engine room was also fully painted.  To finish off old wheelhouse flooring was uplifted and seamless Degafloor decorative  flooring resins was applied to the floor of wheelhouse.
