The Enviroco’s storage tank work was carried out at Dales Industrial Estate in Peterhead.
The storage tanks showed visible signs of corrosion and coating breakdown on outer surfaces. They were high pressure power washed and mechanically prepared to S.T.2 by descaling any heavy corrosion and disc sanding to remove any rust and loose adhering paint.
Once prepared the tanks were dusted down and coated with a 2 pack epoxy high volume solids primer at the end of each day. Once the tanks were completely prepared and primed, a further 3 coats of 2 pack epoxy paint was applied to achieve a further 10 years against corrosion.
