PBP Services continue to invest heavily in their purpose built blast cleaning facilities which are soon to become the only facility in the area to be self sufficent with a carbon negative footprint due to the construction of an 850kw wind turbine which will connect up to their facilities to provide all power requirements with the vast majority of the power being transported back into national grid.
Along with this major investment PBP Services have a large purpose built recovery blast room and temperature controlled spray rooms capable of accommodating anything which is road transportable.
We have a specialised in house facility for protective coating applications for a multitude of equipment which is shipped offshore. Typically this equipment is transported from Aberdeen and the surrounding area into our purpose built facility where blast cleaning and painting operations are carried out to the required offshore specification.
All our blast cleaning and painting is carried out by highly skilled and trained personnel as well as registered paint inspecters from the two main governing bodies, NACE and ICORR. Here at PBP Services we are in a position to deliver quality and certified applications to the highest standard for both the offshore and onshore oil and gas industries.
The work we have undertaken has included accomodation modules, tanks and silos, housing units, skid and crash frames, valves and spools, drill cutting plants and units, onshore pipework, saddle supports, deck support canopies, reel spools, winches and pumps.
With our 50 acre site and over 11,000 square feet of internal blast cleaning and painting facilities we are capable of handling anything which is road transportable. The facility is complimented with 16 CCTV camera coverage for our large secure storage yard.
