Engine Room

Engine rooms from small trawlers to large pelagic ships are specialist works which PBP Services carry out in close conjunction with vessel owners, along with assistance from ships engineers. The vessels are usually masked off where required. Cleaned down, degreased and prepared for coating works. Once completed primers, base coats, topcoats are spray applied to all bulkheads, deckheads, bildges, tank sides etc then brush and roller coating behind pipes, angles and inaccessible areas.

After the main colour is completed engines and generators are spray applied with heat resistant engine enamel before application of different colours which are then brush applied to pipes, valves, motors, handles etc. Finally all tapes, masking, sheeting etc is removed and tidied up.
