This is part of a long line of mainly storage and engineering buildings, which PBP have been engaged to work on for Score Group dating as far back to protective coating applications to the structural steel-work on their original large building, which was constructed around 1985 at the Old Glenugie distillery site in Peterhead.
This construction project was building number 5 at the Glen Test Facility where all structural steelwork and overhead cranes and crane rail beams were blast cleaned, mechanically prepared, primed and painted with a marine coating specification on site prior to construction and also at PBP services yard coating facility.
Also undertaken was the intumescent coatings to achieve 1 hours fire protection of certain steel-work areas at boundary walls and personnel office areas.
