The Waverley built in 1947 is the last paddle steamer in the world that still carries passenger’s today, which is based on the River Clyde.
PBP Services were instructed by Dales Marine Services to provide a fast turnaround within budget at the Garvel Clyde Shipyard, Greenock.
PBP dispatched a team of 12 men, plant and equipment to attend the historic paddle steamer Waverley.
An experienced team of blasters and painters worked day and night to fully blast the 700 square metre underwater hull back to bare metal ready for a 4 coat underwater coating specification.
The owners and Dales Marine Services were highly satisfied with the level of quality to the works that were carried out.
