PBP Flooring Solutions were contracted to install Rapid Cure flooring resin to the kitchen and servery areas of the busy Zizzi Italian restaurant at Leeds Birstall retail park.
The works were carried out throughout the night as soon as the restaurant closed in order to enable trading to continue for breakfast dining.
A four coat rapid cure system was applied through the night which comes with Food and Drinks Industry certification as well as Health and Safety Certification in order to protect against slips and trips.
Skilled PBP Flooring Solutions approved and trained applicators set up all equipment and materials and immediately prepared the floor surface by vacuum floor sanding in order to provide an adhesion key and to clean the floor.
Once this was completed the Bond primer resin was applied and after 1 hour cure the base coat and full broadcast quartz decorative aggregate was applied to enhance anti slip properties of the product, yet again an hour was allowed to pass before applicators moved on to floor to sweep and vacuum up the excess quartz aggregate which then left an aesthetically pleasing and even application.
Once this was done then the final 2 x full coats of resin sealer was applied in order to achieve a cleanable and non slip surface within the kitchen and servery area The works were started at 10pm and completed by 4am by the skilled and experienced PBP Flooring Solutions team, which left the owners very satisfied with the efficiency and floor finish on completion.
